Here's a few shots from the first scramble I ever did in the Rockies. In the fall of 1999 we went with a group from the office. At the time I thought that this was one of the only peaks that you could do without ropes and stuff. Little did I know that there are hundreds of peaks that can be done with only a good set of lungs and some mountain 'smarts'.
East End of Rundle was a fun scramble. We were in a bit of a hurry because once again the weather was against us.
I took Wednesday, July 14 2010 off work and headed to K-Country to scramble one of my last remaining Kane peaks with Keith and So - Cougar Mountain. The weather forecast was dismal for this day but since we had all booked it already it wasn't worth another cancelation. The summer weather so far in 2010 has been dismal at best!
