Kane Scramble

Squaw's Tit (ST)

Sean and I did this scramble on a perfect scrambling day. The sun was out for some of the time, it snowed a bit, rained a bit and generally just did the mountain weather thing! We started off by parking on the wrong end of Bow River Dr. but eventually we found the right place and headed for the peak. After a long winter of no scrambling our heart rates went through the roof quite quickly!

Rae, Mount

Sean and I left Calgary around 8am for a late start up Mt. Rae on a sunny July Saturday morning. Originally we were going to climb Mt. Chester but since that entailed a very dusty ride down the Spray Lakes road and I had just hand-washed the beast I decided to use a shallow excuse to climb a mountain that has piqued my interest for a while already.
